Kirjasto-Kamu started working at the library

Kirjasto-Kamu is the library's new AI bot, cousin to Helpdesk's Mikro-Mikko. You can ask it questions about the library even in the middle of the night.

Kamu's answers seem like the result of human, intellectual thought processes. The bot "understands" your question and combines pieces of information to provide a precise answer. That is why Kirjasto-Kamu outperforms many other chatbots with its expertise. It can be a real help to you.

Talk as you would to a person

Kamu will not only answer your question, but you can also continue the conversation with him. If you need clarification on a specific detail in Kamu's answer, just ask him. If you want to clarify your question or give Kamu more information, go ahead. You can chat with Kamu just like you would with a real person.

Does Kamu tell the truth?

Kirjasto-Kamu is in the testing phase, so not all of its answers are guaranteed to be correct. However, it adds sources at the end of each answer, which you can use to check the information.

Processing of personal data and data protection

Chatbot Kamu is designed to answer your questions on a general level, not with your personal information. It is not intended for processing your personal data or that of other individuals. Do not enter your own or other people's personal data into the chatbot. This would violate the principle of minimizing the processing of personal data as described in the EU's General Data Protection Regulation. Kirjasto-Kamu operates on Microsoft's cloud service and is subject to Metropolia's terms of use for cloud services.
