Interlibrary service

Interlibrary service is lending service between libraries.

Customers

If the material you need is not available in 3AMK libraries (Haaga-Helia, Laurea and Metropolia) or any other library in the Capital Region, you can request it for interlibrary loan through us.

Interlibrary loan service is free for students and staff of Metropolia, Laurea and Haaga-Helia. Otherwise, see the charge for the interlibrary loan service in the price list. Return the interlibrary loan to the same library where you ordered it.

Fill in the interlibrary loan service form or send email to kaukopalvelu(at)metropolia.fi

Check the availability of the material in MetCat Finna. Two week loans, journals or audiovisual material are not provided as interlibrary loans.

When making an interlibrary order, please give the following information 

  • Linda ID 
  • library ID starting with 265 (the National Repository Library customer number) 
  • Business ID 

Costs

To libraries in Finland 
  • Interlibrary loans from the library collections 15 € / item 
  • Article copies 10 € for each 1-10 pages. 
To libraries in the EU 
  • Interlibrary loans from the library collections 50 € / item 
  • Article copies 20 € for each 1-10 pages.

Interlibrary loans are not provided for countries outside the EU.
