Data Management for students course in Moodle

The Moodle course is recommecded for all students that collect data for their thesis. The course

  • provides a concise package of essential topics to consider in research data management, including research ethics, storage locations, data security, data privacy, data management plan, and prosessing sensitive data
  • includes links to additional instructions, as well as video tutorials and short exercises to test your own knowledge
  • can be completed independently and freely at your own pace, and it can also serve as a reference guide
  • has no credit points or grading.

Video Series: Data Management for Thesis Projects

Video series are designed to support students conducting their thesis research and their thesis supervisors.

The training consists of six videos with a total duration of 33 minutes. The videos are independent, allowing you to watch them separately as well. Videos are in Finnish, subtitles in English.
