WGSN user rights

Below is a summary of the service's key user rights. Please also refer to the full terms of use.

Authorised users

Students and staff of the organisation. No walk-in use allowed.

Permitted use

Users are generally allowed to:

• use the resource solely for the purpose of education, teaching, private study, and research.
• browse and perform searches
• print or save search results in moderation for private study and research. Saved documents may not be shared.
• link to the service from course packs or learning environments.

Prohibited use

User are not allowed to:

• share any WGSN content outside Metropolia, for example in social media or in a thesis.
• use the resource, or parts of it, for commercial purposes. Any commercial use is strictly prohibited.
• systematically copy or print material, nor republish the material
• remove or alter the names of the authors of the material or the publisher’s copyright markings, nor any other identification data and restrictions

In case the terms and conditions are violated, liability for damages applies.
